Yareli Bolanos is a current senior and the Student Body President at Mater Academy East. As Student Body President, she serves as the voice of students who are often overlooked, which drives her to complete every task to the best of her ability, knowing that others rely on her both on and behind the stage. Her passion to help, include, and collaborate with others motivates her continued involvement in student council, whether she is planning, designing, or creating materials for an event.
Being in this role means more than simply completing tasks as they arise; it also involves ensuring that future student council members and officers are prepared to continue the momentum her graduating class leaves behind.
After high school, Yareli plans to attend college out of state, majoring in advertising with a minor in film. Following college, she hopes to work in the international film industry, allowing her to explore diverse cultures while pursuing a career she loves. In the future, she also plans to start her own business to give back to the community that helped shape her into the person she is today.
