Gina LaLicata has been an educator since 1996 and is currently the Principal at Academica International Studies. Gina has experience in public, private, and charter schools across the United States. She has experience at the elementary, middle, high school, and college levels as a teacher, mentor, professor, department head, and principal. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and Spanish from Marquette University, a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin, and a specialized Certificate in Educational Leadership from Florida International University. For the past 15 years, Gina has been dedicated to the digital learning environment and is an experienced leader in online education. Under her leadership, Academica International Studies has grown to over 40,000 students across more than 30 countries. She is an expert in digital content, curriculum and instruction, operations, online teaching and learning, professional development, second language learning, budget, quality control, and school improvement.
