Luciano Battocchio is an Italian engineer and Program Manager at Aero Sekur. Aero Sekur is an aviation and aerospace manufacturing company headquartered in Rom, Italy. Mr. Battocchio is published in his field and had the opportunity to work on the ExoMars parachute. The technology developed by Luciano and his team allows for a safe landing on Mars through a doughnut-like fabric structure that deflates upon impact, releasing gas inflating the landing much like an air bag.
