Jon Gries is an American actor, writer, and director who has been entertaining audiences for decades. From the beginning of his career playing opposite Charlton Heston as Button in the 1968 Western classic Will Penny, to approximately one-hundred forty movies and television shows. To name a few, Mr. Gries has acted in Martin, Seinfeld, Lost, The Pretender, The Monster Squad, Running Scared, Real Genius, The Run Down, and Taken. In 2005 Mr. Gries was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male Actor for his role as Uncle Rico in the 2004 film Napoleon Dynamite.
